I don't have headphones, does the app still work?
Our app also works without headphones, but the recognition works best when the other band instruments are shielded. This allows the recognition to focus exclusively on the instrument being played. Therefore, we recommend playing with headphones.
Can I use Bluetooth headphones?
Bluetooth headphones are unsuitable for professional audio systems, as they cause an inaccurate delay in data transfer. That's why they are not used in recording studios. It is possible to use Bluetooth headphones with our app, but in Perform Mode they are automatically deactivated.
Can I use a laptop?
The app is currently available for smartphones and tablets. It is currently not possible to use it on laptops. We are working on making the app available for more devices in the future.
What devices can I use the app on?
The MyGroove app can be used on the following devices: • Apple iPhone & iPad with iOS 15 or later • Android smartphone & tablet with Android 10 or newer
What do I need to get the most out of the app?
To get the most out of the app, you'll need: • A smartphone or tablet for iOS (Apple) or Android (Google) • A stable and fast internet connection •Headphones • A musical instrument or your voice
How can I turn on my camera for Perform Mode afterwards?
If you want to turn on the camera for Perform Mode afterwards, you can do the following: Ios 1. Open Settings 2. Scroll down and tap on the MyGroove app 3. Make sure that the "Camera Access" option is set to "Allow" Android 1. Open the Settings app 2. Tap Apps & Notifications 3. Select the MyGroove app 4. Make sure the camera permission toggle is set to "On" If you enable this setting, the camera should work fine in Perform Mode. However, keep in mind that the exact steps may differ depending on your device and Android version.
Can I use the app offline?
No, unfortunately not. All our videos are streamed. So, in order to use the MyGroove app, you always need a good and stable internet connection to load the content and enable interaction with the artists as well as the feedback system.
Do I need to be connected to the internet to use the app?
Yes. MyGroove streams videos in real-time when you play a level. Therefore, a good internet connection is required (> 10 Mb/s).
